# AI-processed Candidate Usage

KitaHQ measures usage based on the number of candidates your team actively processes through recruitment workflows.

**One candidate counts as one AI-processed candidate per job role** when they are first screened, contacted, scheduled for an interview, or submitted for review. Multiple actions performed on the same candidate within the same role will only count once.

## What Counts as an AI-Processed Candidate?

A candidate counts toward your monthly usage when you first perform any of the following actions:

* **AI Screening:** Evaluate candidates using AI-assisted application reviews and evidence-backed assessments.
* **Candidate Outreach:** Contact candidates through email, WhatsApp, or SMS.
* **Interview Scheduling:** Schedule interviews or send interview invitations.
* **Candidate Submission:** Submit candidates for hiring manager or client review.

Simply uploading resumes, storing candidates in your database, or extracting information from resumes does not count toward your usage.

## How Is Usage Calculated?

Each candidate is counted **once per job role**, regardless of how many qualifying actions you perform.

For example, if you add a candidate to a job, run an AI application review, send an outreach message, and schedule an interview, the candidate will only count **once** for that role.

However, if you process the same candidate for another job role, they will count as one additional AI-processed candidate.

Your monthly AI-processed candidate capacity depends on your subscription plan.
