# Assessment Screening Questions

Screen candidates more effectively with AI-generated questions tailored to your hiring requirements. Simply describe what you want to assess, and KitaHQ turns it into a clear, structured screening question, saving time on manual question creation and helping you collect more relevant candidate information.

Choose from **Open, Yes/No, Single Choice, or Multiple Choice** answer formats. You can also make questions **required or optional**, customize the answer options, and use **Re-enhance with AI** to refine the wording. This gives you the flexibility to build a consistent screening process for every role while collecting the information your team needs to evaluate candidates faster.

## Create and Customize Screening Questions with AI

You can create and customize these questions in **Step 4: Screening Questions** of the job creation process. Choose from **Open, Yes/No, Single Choice, or Multiple Choice** answer formats. Edit or remove suggested questions, add your own, or click **Regenerate** to generate new questions with AI.

To make changes after creating a job, go to **Jobs**, select the relevant job, and open the **Screening** tab under **Job Details**. From there, you can edit, add, remove, or reorder questions as needed. Questions linked to evaluation criteria must remain in place unless the corresponding criteria or evidence sources are updated.
